We began in 2003 when we opened in Motherwell, Lanarkshire. It was here we welcomed our first bride and thousands more since, each of whom have become part of the Susanne Christyne Bridal family.
We’re fortunate enough to meet and design wedding dresses for brides throughout the UK and internationally and carry out consultations via email, whatsapp and video call.
We meet such colourful characters with weird and wonderful ideas of what a wedding should be to them and we can help by being diverse and open minded to all ideas. We’ve been challenged creatively along the way which keeps us on our toes and keeps our job as a bridal designer, so exciting.
Once a bridal journey is complete, it is not a goodbye, as our brides have often returned to us, introducing their friends & family who then begin their own Susanne Christyne bridal journey experience.

At a Susanne Christyne Bridal appointment, you will be welcomed at our private design studio at Brownlee House, Clyde Valley. You will be greeted by Susanne and offered a seat in our lounge where you can enjoy a drink and tasty delight before we begin our initial consultation. Our bridal studio offers a bright, modern and welcoming atmosphere ensuring a relaxing experience for you to start your wedding dress design journey.
We have a beautiful selection of wedding dresses and two piece mix and match range, these are samples to help build and firm up on your ideas.
We also have veils and accessories for you to browse and try on at your appointment.

Susanne Christyne, a graduate from the prestigious Scottish School of Textiles Galashiels in 2003, is now one of Scotland’s leading bridal designers with over 20 years’ experience.
Brides can expect a unique, relaxed experience, as you will meet and speak with Susanne at every appointment, from the first initial consultation to the last fitting and it is clear to her passion for design as she is always full of ideas & solution so much so, her brides call her their fairy godmother.
Susanne believes in full involvement with her brides throughout the bridal design process taking you through every step.
